Robert Cecil Franks, 90, husband of Laura Alice Walker Franks, passed away on Jan. 8, 2012 at Clark Regional Medical Center.
A native of Bourbon County, he was the son of the late, Edward and Lida Franks. He was a retired employee of the Blue Grass Army Depot, a United States Army veteran of World War II, member of the American Legion and a member of the Clintonville Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Lane and Marvin Haggard of Clay City and Seleste Rice of Paris; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Rodney and Mary Cosby of Paris and Odell Cosby of Paris; 16 grandchildren, Rodney Cosby Jr., A.J. Cosby, Joy Cosby, Ivan K. Rice, Dwayne (Lisa) Rice, Terry (Sheila) Rice, Yvette (Adama) Ndiaye, Odell Cosby Jr., Eddie Cosby, Bryson Cosby, Travis (Lindsey) Haggard, Arty Myers, Tony Campbell, Chris Campbell, Shawn Cosby Jr. and Tanner Arnold; a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
