JANUARY 16

12:43 a.m., extra patrol is requested on Boone Trail due to a suspicious male walking around the caller’s vehicle.

1:24 a.m., officer checking on a subject outside of Food Lion; arrest made.

11:48 a.m., report of criminal mischief to a city vehicle on Cecil Street.

12:01 p.m., report of criminal mischief to a tractor-trailer that has been in the parking lot on Ben-Ali Drive for several days.

12:02 p.m., a male taking pictures at Go Go Gorillas has been asked to leave several times but he is refusing.

1:07 p.m., a dog is on the caller’s porch on Fox Run Trail; animal control has the dog and attempted to contact the possible owner on Cloverdale Drive.

2:19 p.m., report of children who are unrestrained in the back seat of a pickup truck on Jane Drive; unable to locate.

5:04 p.m., report of a possible attempted burglary that just occurred on Ridgeway Drive; the male subject left in a maroon SUV heading toward Main Street; arrest made.

5:16 p.m., case manager at the hospital is requesting to speak to an officer in reference to a 2-year-old child who needs medical attention but the mother has refused treatment.

8:30 p.m., caller’s husband just advised her that he was on his way home from work to harm her.

11:02 p.m., caller is requesting an officer in reference to illegal use of photos involving a minor.

JANUARY 17

11:02 a.m., caller from West Broadway residence is advising that several subjects just left after causing a disturbance and pushing her boyfriend.

11:22 a.m., caller is requesting an officer check on the welfare of an elderly female near the hospital emergency room who is holding a napkin to her face and trying to stop cars and beating on the windows; officer saw the subject get into a vehicle and leave the area; officer out with the subject at the Dollar General Store; assistance given.

11:34 a.m., two-vehicle, non-injury accident on Gose Pike.

12:34 p.m., report that caller’s debit card was unlawfully used at Speedway.

1:05 p.m., caller from Patchen Point Apartments is advising that a neighbor is leaving harassing letters on his door accusing him of stealing money; other party involved is in the police department lobby wanting to speak to an officer.

1:53 p.m., non-injury accident on Corporate Drive; tow company en route.

3:50 p.m., complaint that a male is refusing to leave South Fourth Street residence; trouble settled.

4:05 p.m., caller advising that a juvenile assaulted her 12-year-old grandchild when they got off the school bus; trouble settled.

4:11 p.m., tractor-trailer is stuck on the curb at Third Street and Lexington Avenue.

4:41 p.m., an elderly male with severe dementia needs to be taken to the hospital.

6:43 p.m., report that multiple juveniles are knocking on the door and running away at Long Run Community Apartments.

6:50 p.m., officer at Subway in reference to counterfeit money.

6:52 p.m., vehicle stop at East Main Street and North Hill-N-Dale; arrest made.

7:30 p.m., female shoplifter just left Sally’s Beauty Supply and may be en route toJ.C. Penney.

8:36 p.m., officer returning property to Colonial Way residence.

8:46 p.m., father just learned of a text message his 14-year-old daughter sent last week saying there had been a physical domestic altercation between her and her mother; father is requesting officer to check on welfare; attempted to call father back; getting a fast busy signal.

11:21 p.m., report of a robbery at Quality Inn on Daniel Drive.
