DANNIE EUGENE ‘POP’ DAVIS
Dannie Eugene "Pop" Davis, 75, of Wauchula, Fla., passed away on Jan. 15, 2012 at his daughter's home in Wauchula.
Dan was born in Tudor Key, Ky., on March 31, 1936 and moved to Hardee County from Louisiana in 1985. He was a mechanic.
He is survived by three daughters, Debbie Johnson of Wauchula, Gina Townsend and Sheila Lawrence, both of Mount Sterling; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. James McIntosh.
Burial will be in the Meadows Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Dunaway, Travis Dunaway, Robbie Liggett, Joe Stewart, Michael Lawrence and Steven Hall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Stewart, Ronnie Stewart, Eddie Johns and Dave Castle.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Scobee Funeral Home.
