Classes

The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer’s Disease — 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 20 at the Madison County Public Library, Berea location, 319 Chestnut St., Berea. The two-hour presentation will explore what everyone should know about memory loss issues and what they mean for all of us. Body Recall  — 9-10 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through April 13 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 555 E. Lexington Ave., Danville. Helps regain mobility, strength, energy and flexibility. Exercise for all ages. Exercises are done in a chair and with a chair and are great  for breast cancer recovery, heart patients, diabetics, arthritis, strokes, and knee and hip replacements. Nature’s Thyme Herb Group seventh annual Tea Thyme — 10 a.m.  Saturday, Feb. 11 at First Southern National Bank’s community room on the Public Square in Lancaster. The program will be “Wintertime Herbs for Coughs, Colds and the Flu” by Mary Ray of Bardstown.  Cost for the tea is $5.
