Glenn Ballard, 90, of Winchester, widower of the late Marjorie McFarland Ballard, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.
Mr. Ballard was born in Clay City on Nov. 29, 1921, to the late Mattie Ballard Hood.
He was a retired heavy equipment hauler and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his son, David Ballard (Rosemary) of Paris; granddaughter, Hayden Terstegge (John) of Petaluma, Calif.; great-grandson, Kelan Terstegge of California; brother, L.B. Hood of Longmont, Colo.; and sister, Roxie Hash of Winchester.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Ballard; and two brothers, Paul Hood and Cebert Hood.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Scobee Funeral Home by J.D. Gilliam.
Burial will be in the Kennon Cemetery in Powell County.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
