STANFORD — Farmers National Bank has partnered with the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation to ensure the citizens of Stanford and Lincoln County have access to quality health care. Farmers National Bank President and CEO Greg Caudill presented the final $10,000 payment of a $50,000 pledge to the Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital.

Farmers National Bank was one of the larger contributors to the construction campaign that helped fund Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital. At the presentation, Caudill reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to the community.

“Farmers National Bank takes great pride in being a good corporate citizen, but nothing we do is more important than our support of the region’s health care,” Caudill said.

Donations to the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation also have allowed for purchases of sophisticated medical equipment at Fort Logan Hospital, such as a new digital mammography unit, which now provides women a better chance of early detection of breast cancer. Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital President Mike Jackson recognized the value of good corporate partners as he accepted this final installment.
