Maple St. in the community center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church. The meal is open to the public for anyone in need. — Saint Athanasius Orthodox Church, located at 926 S. Main St., offers free bread to families and individuals in need in the Nicholasville area. Saint Athanasius distributes this bread, supplied by Panera Bread, every Sunday from 1-2 p.m. on the porch of the South Main Street location.
— First Assembly of God, located at 1701 Wilmore Road, will host “Messiah in the Passover” Sunday, March 18, at 11 a.m. The event will be conducted by the Rev. Peter Shirokov, a representative of Chosen People Ministries, one of the world’s most extensive ministries to the Jewish people. The public is invited to attend.
— The Jessamine County Senior Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and welcomes people 60 years of age and older. The center has a fully equipped exercise room and a thrift shop. The seniors meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
