ERMA MARIE WATTENBERGER

Erma Marie Wattenberger, 56, of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, March 18, at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

She was born to Herman and Geneva Cole Wattenberger in Harlan on Nov. 8, 1955. She was a retired GTE employee.

Survivors include her two daughters, Ami McCoy and Amber Bentley Martin of Winchester; two grandchildren, Darci McCoy and Landen Brinegar of Winchester; two brothers, Jack and Eugene Wattenberger of Winchester; three sisters, Sheila Wattenberger of Lexington, Marsha Wattenberger of Winchester and Pam Irvine of Mount Sterling; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; and a number of great-nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by two brothers, Mike Wattenberger and Terry Wattenberger, and also by her father Herman Wattenberger.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, at Scobee Funeral Home by Jackie Stamper.

Burial will follow at Clarmont Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Cooper Rawls, Eugene Wattenberger, Jack Wattenberger, James Bates, Dwayne Rison, Anthony Conkwright, Freddie Wells and Jim Barber. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Wattenberger.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Winchester Community Church at 125 N. Franklin Ave., or any dance school for children, like Thoroughbred Gymnastics.
