Prep Softball: Lincoln defeats Berea 6-1

Lincoln County scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning Tuesday to break open a close game and go on for a 6-1 win at Berea.
Morgan Cooper, Gabby Gabriel, and Mary Beth Hogue each had two hits and Kellie Conley drove in two runs for Lincoln (2-0). Gabriel had another strong pitching performance, giving up two hits, walking five, and striking out 10 while giving up one earned run. 
The Patriots led 3-1 before getting three runs in the seventh. Berea (0-1) got its run in the bottom of the fourth.
