Logue went on to coach at Junction City Elementary, and Boyle County middle and high schools. He coached boys and girls at the middle school.
“I have officially quit coaching after 40 years of coaching,” said Logue. He ended his coaching career coaching the Danville Admirals girls team.
A program from the 45th District basketball tournament held Feb. 28-March 1, 1962, in Alumni Memorial Gymnasium at Centre College, shows 11 teams from the district played in the competition. The program is owned by Ricky Richardson of Junction City.
In the opening games, Perryville Bulldogs beat Lancaster Mason Indians, and Danville Admirals beat Forkland Green Wave. Bate Bulldogs beat Parksville Wildcats, and Junction City Red Devils beat Lancaster Mason Indians.
The next night, Danville outscored Perryville and Junction City beat Bate.
The Junction Red Devils outscored Danville Admirals four times in tournaments since the 45th District was formed in 1937 of Boyle and Garrard counties. However, Danville won the district tourney 18 times in the history of the district.
Team members for Junction City Red Devils also included Charlie Flynn, Michael Frisby, Bobby Aaron, Donnie Johnson, David Elder, Buddy Anderson, Dale Walls, Mitchell Frisby, Jackie Young and Ray Nelson. Coach was Doug Hamm and manager was John Lockhart.
Danville High Admirals included Mike Seltsam, Jimmy Porter, Sammy Burke, Darrell Terry, Roger Prall, Claude Wilder, Don Preston, David Milner, Brent Arnold, Don Bibb and Chad Sparrow. Coaches were David Cottrell, Dick Horn, Leon Kingsolver and Ray Callahan.

Parksville Wildcats were Carl Westerfield, Nick Powell, Larry Griffith, Brent Pierce, Donald Pike, David Randolph, Jerry Leber, Roger Chadwell, Danny Duncan, Sammy Ham and Marlin Taylor. Coach was Joe Wesley.
