Prep Tennis: Danville boys top Lincoln

Three eighth-graders and a seventh-grader combined to win four matches for the Danville boys, carrying the Admirals to a 5-2 victory over Lincoln County on Monday at Danville.
Michael McChesney won at No. 2 singles for Danville, while Colin Hart earned Lincoln’s only singles win and shared in its only doubles win.
Casey County 6, Mercer County 3 — At Liberty, Casey won five of six singles matches to defeat Mercer. Ryan Martin won in straight sets at No. 1 singles for the Rebels.
Boyle County 9, Pulaski County 0 — At Danville, Boyle improved to 2-2 by sweeping nine matches from Pulaski. Ben Akers and Ben Kendrick pulled out a 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles.
Girls
Casey County 7, Garrard County 2 — At Lancaster, Casey won all six singles matches in its win over Garrard. Tylyn Leigh earned a three-set victory at No. 1 singles, and Allie Tinsley won two close sets at No. 2.
Boyle County 6, Pulaski County 3 — At Danville, Boyle swept three doubles matches to defeat Pulaski, getting narrow victories from Anna Duncan and Sarah Nolan at No. 1 and Nikol Pluess and Victoria Horseman at No. 2.
