Prep Tennis: Mercer girls down Garrard to move to 5-0 on the year

The Mercer County girls improved to 5-0 on the season Tuesday, shutting out host Garrard 9-0.
Erin Pigman, Christy Ingram and Mary Baxter all won at singles and doubles for the Titans.
Casey County 8, Somerset 0 — At Liberty, Allie Tinsley, Haley Owens, Sara Coffman and Chelsey Lynn all won at singles and doubles in the Rebels’ sweep over Somerset.

Boys
Garrard County 5, Mercer County 4 — At Harrodsburg, the Golden Lions won four of six singles matches to edge the host Titans.
Jonah Johnson and Tanner Barrett teamed for a win at No. 1 doubles and each had a singles wins for Garrard. Chris Fuller had a singles and doubles win for Mercer.
Casey County 7, Somerset 2 — At Somerset, Clay Cannon, Skyer Wright and Hunter Pierce won at singles and doubles for the visiting Rebels in a win over Somerset.
