Fred Bond, 72, of Danville, died Sunday, April 15, 2012.
Born in Winchester, he was a son of the late Charlie Floyd and Stella Fallen Bond. He was a forklift driver for Rockwell International Implements and a security guard at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for the last seven years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and volunteered at Kentucky School for the Deaf for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Byrd Bond; four daughters, Leslie Bond, Debra Miller, Elizabeth Stratton and Teresa Ross, all of Winchester; two sons, Frederick Byron (Katherine Church) Bond of Danville and Michael Brandon (Robin) Bond of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren, Chris Bond, Steven Miller, Ashley Stratton, Drew Isaacs, Chelsey Ross, Abigail Bond, Dakota Bond, Gabriel Bond and Torrie Bond; two great-grandchildren, Darius Blaine Stratton and Ashton Cole Curtis; and two sisters, Brenda (Gene) Carver of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ann (Dewey) Pope of Winchester. He was preceded in death by a brother, Woody Fallen.
