Prep Basketball: Stenzel makes Kentucky-Indiana All-Star team

George Rogers Clark guard Bopper Stenzel isn’t finished with his high school career just yet.
Stenzel was named to the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star team this morning.¿Stenzel helped lead the Cardinals to a 31-6 record and the school’s second consecutive 10th Region championship this past season.
Stenzel joins Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball Nathan Dieudonne of Louisville Trinity on the squad. Jay Johnson (Woodford County) and Tamron Manning of Scott County also are on the team.
The Kentucky-Indiana All-Star game is set for June 8 at Freedom Hall and June 9 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Corey Rogers made last year’s team and currently is a member of the football team at Tennessee-Martin.
Clark senior Adam Fatkin tried out for the team two weeks ago at Georgetown College.

Townsend (Rowan County), Adam Wing (Rowan County), Mekale McKay (Louisville Moore)
Head coach: Jason Booher, Holmes. Assistant coaches: Allen Feldhaus Jr., Madison Central and Chris O’Hearn, Mason County.
