Prep Sports: Advocate seeks nominations for annual scholar-athlete award

If you know an area high school student who should be nominated for The Advocate-Messenger/Danville Office Equipment Scholar Athlete of the Year, now is the time to make that nomination.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.5 grade-point average. Please include any academic honors as well as extracurricular activities and any information you want on athletic accomplishments.
Each area school will be nominating one male and one female scholar-athlete, but the Advocate also wants to give readers an opportunity to nominate deserving student-athletes.
