Central Baptist hosts Bible school kick-off

Central Baptist Church will host a vacation Bible school kick-off Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church parking lot with inflatables and snow cones.

Vacation Bible school will be June 11-15 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Children who turned three prior to Oct. 1, 2011 through fifth grade are invited.

Homecoming, revival at Ephesus Baptist

Ephesus Baptist Church, 500 Stoner-Ephesus Road, will host a spring revival and homecoming services with Brother Tony Cecil. Services will be at 7 p.m. today and 11 a.m. Sunday.

Antioch Christian Church will host vacation Bible school June 11-15 from 6:30 to 8:30 nightly.

Trinity UMC annual strawberry supper

Trinity United Methodist Church, 306 N. Main St., will host a strawberry supper Friday, June 22 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children.

Supper includes all-you-can-eat strawberries, ice cream and cake.

Singing at Winchester Community Church

Winchester Community Church, 123 Franklin Ave., will host a benefit gospel singing for Terry G. Hall, also a southern gospel singer, at 6 p.m. today and Sunday.

The concert today will feature The Fisher Family and other local gospel groups.
Sunday’s concert will include the Couch Family, David Smith, Edith Lykins and Revelations 411.

The concerts are free, but donations will be collected for Hall.

Desserts will be sold for $1 and drinks for 60 cents during intermission.

Fried chicken dinner at Winchester Community Church

The Winchester Community Church will have a fried chicken dinner from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the church fellowship hall, 123 Franklin Ave. Dinner is $6.50 a plate and includes fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw and a roll. Desserts are $1 and canned soda is 60 cents.

Free delivery available within the city limits. Call 749-1921 to schedule a delivery.

Fairfax Church hosts Bible school

Fairfax Church of Christ will host vacation Bible school June 24-28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages. For more information, call 744-8850 or visit www.fairfaxcofc.org.
