One injured in Gose Pike crash
Danville emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle collision Friday morning at the intersection of Gose Pike and U.S. 150, according to a police report.
John Miller, 63, of Harrodsburg, caused the accident when he disregarded a red light at 11:50 a.m. Friday, according to police. Miller’s 2008 Dodge truck with trailer crashed into a 2007 Chevrolet Impala driven by Marjorie Newcomb, 55, of Stanford.
Newcomb was transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Lincoln crash injures woman, child
WAYNESBURG — A 24-year-old woman and her 3-year-old child were injured in a single vehicle accident on U.S. 27 Friday morning, according to state police.
Tia Caldwell, 24, of Waynesburg, was driving northbound on U.S. 27 at 10:50 a.m. Friday when she became distracted and lost control of her 2003 Ford Taurus, police said. The car struck several trees and sustained severe damage.
