LANCASTER — Calvin Cooladge Hall, 84, of Lancaster, Ky., died Saturday, June 9, 2012. Born July 2, 1927, in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Amon and Lucy Davis Hall. He was an Army veteran who served during the Korean War. He was a farmer and a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl (Charles) Moody, of Berea, Ky., and Pam Leber of Lancaster, Ky.; three brothers, Virgil Hall, Dan (Dorothy) Hall and Roy (Carol) Hall, all of Lancaster; a sister, Christine Blakeman of Richmond, Ky; five grandchildren, J. Matthew (Rachel) Kelly, Shawn A. Sinkhorn, Roger D. Sinkhorn, Tara Leber and Lindsey Leber; a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Sinkhorn; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Connie Kaye Hall; six brothers, Clayton, Hubert, Jessee, Aha, Elbert and Frank Hall; and four sisters, Wilma Jean Hall, Ethel Carrier, Letha Glenn and Mary Morrow.

Funeral service will be noon Wednesday, at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Revs. Daryl Hodge and Leon Thomas. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Caswell Saufley Post 18 American Legion presenting military honors. Casketbearers will be Johnny Cox, Shawn Sinkhorn, Bobby Ray Prewitt Jr., Bobby Hall, Jerry Walton and Bobby Carrier. Honorary casketbearers will be J. Matthew Kelly, Shannon Hall, Troy Hall and Bobby Prewitt Sr.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, 

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene Building Fund, 115 Highland Ave., Lancaster, KY 40444.
