Patterson, Appelman plan June 30 wedding

The Rev. and Mrs. Eric and Robin Patterson announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Kae, to Andrew David Appelman, son of David and Mollie Appelman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lamar and Kay Baker of Urbana, Ohio, and Ann Patterson of Ashland.
She is a 2005 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, a 2009 graduate of the University of Kentucky and a 2011 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. She will teach mathematics at Mason County High School this fall.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Georgie Shanklin of Maysville, John and Gina Shanklin of Sun City Center, Fla., and Bob and Janie Appelman of Augusta.
He is a 2005 graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, a 2007 graduate of Maysville Community College with an associate’s degree, a 2009 graduate of Morehead State University and a 2012 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a master’s degree in physician’s assistant studies.
In the fall of 2012, Andrew will join the Denham Medical Clinic in Maysville.
The wedding will take place Saturday, June 30, at Trinity United Methodist Church at 4:30 p.m.
Immediately following the ceremony will be a reception at the Maysville Country Club.
