Hazel Beatrice Humble Bell, 85, of Eubank, formerly of Wayne County, passed away Friday, June 22, at her residence.
Born Oct. 7, 1926, in Wayne County, Hazel was a daughter of the late Thomas Lewis and Lue Burnetta Humble. She retired from Cowden's Manufacturing Company in Stanford and worked at Springcrest and Finishing Touches until 2005.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Mancel Bell and Floyd Burton; two siblings, Mary Turner and Flora Krombrick; and one grandson, Britt Bell.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy (Sam) Hicks of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sherrie (Brent) Godbey of Georgetown; three sons, Frank (Joann) Bell and Reid (Leisa) Bell both of Eubank and Danny (Glenda) Bell of Somerset; four siblings, Lewis Humble, Sampson Humble, Lela Upchurch and Christine Massengale; 11 grandchildren, Kimberly (Chris) Stansell, Kristina (Joe) Lain, Dwayne (Becky) Bell, Tammy Baldock, Jonathan (Amy) Bell, Elizabeth Campos, Sarah (Jeremy) Linnins, Jennifer (Doyle) Jackson, Brenna (Mark) Cantrell, Benjamin (Beth) Godbey and Daniel (Denna) Bell; 19 great grandchildren, Jenny (Ben) Hokuf, Jonathan (Cara) Stansell, Katelyn and Courtney Lain, Damian Bell, Samuel, Jezreel and Daniel Bell, Sydnee Campos, Caanan Reynolds, Jonah Bell, Aaron and Peter Jackson, Ellen, Samuel and Anna Cantrell and Gentry, Colton and Gage Godbey; and three great, great grandchildren, Ethan, Logan and Hunter Hokuf.
