A Winchester man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he forced his way into a woman’s home, assaulted her and raped her earlier this month.
Christopher Keller, 30, is facing two counts of first-degree rape and single counts of fourth-degree assault and second-degree burglary from a pair of incidents.
Keller was arrested Tuesday and arraigned in District Court Wednesday. Automatic not guilty pleas were entered for the felony charges and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 11.
According to court documents, the first incident occurred on June 19 when Keller was in the victim’s home. She told police that he forced intercourse with her, after flipping her over and ripping her underwear off.
