The Jessamine County All-Stars’ seasons came to an end Monday night.
The 12U squad fell to Northern Lexington in the district finals 11-1. Jessamine defeated Woodford on Saturday morning but fell to Northern on Sunday afternoon in the semifinals.
Jessamine had to defeat Northern Lexington twice Monday night to win the championship, but it was not up to the task.
Jessamine 12U went 2-2 overall in the tournament and was district runner up.
Woodford also edged the 10U team on Saturday, but Jessamine got a rematch with Woodford in the losers’ bracket Sunday afternoon. The game was suspended Sunday in the second inning with the score tied 2-2. On Monday, Woodford was able to finish Jessamine off 9-3.
