Letter to the editor: Things missing from Maple Grove

To the editor,
There is a growing problem with theft in Maple Grove Cemetery. Figurines, flowers, solar lights and many other items placed on the graves of our loved ones disappear as quickly as they’re placed. Everyone should watch for the people taking these items.
As far as thieves, you should be ashamed. This is the only way we can show that we haven’t forgotten them and we still love them. Not only do you not have any respect for the dead, but you’re breaking the one of the Lord’s commandments.
Perhaps some security in Maple Grove would help, such as cameras, fences and security guards.
We can’t let this continue. Please, if you see someone taking things, call the police.
