Arts ’n’ Eats event set  

HARRODSBURG — The Arts Council of Mercer County is sponsoring the second Arts ‘N’ Eats from 5 to 9 p.m. today.  

Businesses on Main Street will open their doors to artists to set up and sell their works during the evening. Art will include jewelry, photography, recycled painted furniture, baskets, books, tufa and concrete art and more. Both new and returning artists will be on hand to talk with visitors about their art. 

Guests can pick up maps at the Kentucky Fudge Factory, 225 S. Main; ACMC Studio & Gallery 120 S. Main; or Judy’s Networking, 223 N. Main. The evening will include music and refreshments.

While guests shop, they can get their map signed by businesses owners and drop the map off at Judy’s Networking for a chance to win artwork from participating artists.  he Mercer Humane Society will host free face painting for kids and the ACMC Gallery will have a free “make a recycled flower” activity for children.  

Masonic lodge hosting breakfast Saturday

Danville’s Franklin Masonic Lodge will have a country ham breakfast 7-10 a.m. Saturday at the lodge hall, 400 N. Fourth St. The menu includes country ham, sausage, bacon, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, coffee, orange juice and pastries.

Meetings

Lincoln County Republican Party — 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the First Southern Community Arts Center in Stanford to discuss the candidates for the Magistrate District 2 seat.
