Free GED tutoring available

Free tutoring for adult learners in all subjects for GED Preparation and Adult Basic Education is available on Tuesdays 5-7 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. until noon at the Clark County Homeless Coalition office at 19 Wainscott Ave.
Enter on the right side of the red brick building next to the homeless shelter.

Clark Republicans to meet today

The Clark County Republican Party will meet today at The Steak House at 9 a.m.
All registered Republicans are invited.

Wades Mill Road closure

Wades Mill Road (KY 1961) will be closed Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day for culvert pipe replacement work by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The work will be between U.S. 60 and Stoner Creek Bridge.

Clark County High class of 1948 meeting

The Clark County High School class of 1948 will meet Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at JK’s.

Sylvania retirees meeting Tuesday

Winchester GTE/Sylvania/Osram/UAW retirees will meet Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Union Hall on Bloomfield Road. Following the meeting, members and guests will travel to Richmond for lunch at Ryan’s. All Sylvania retirees and former employees are invited.

Pink Ribbon Partners schedules meeting

Pink Ribbon Partners will have their annual potluck picnic Monday at 6 p.m. at the Generations Center.

Strode Station SBDM meeting

The Strode Station School-based Decision-making Council will meet Thursday, July 12, at 4 p.m. in the school library.
