JULY 8

12:03 a.m., caller hears arguing behind a business on Whirl-A-Way Drive.

3:54 a.m., caller advised her 15-year-old daughter left the house around 1 a.m. with a group of males she met at Millennium Park today; officers attempting to locate the cell phone through AT&T; juvenile located at local motel and the mother was notified; 4:21 a.m., juvenile released to family member.

7:24 a.m., wicker chairs have been stolen from front porch on Maple Tree Place.

10:34 a.m., a wallet has been found in front of Danville High School.

11:37 a.m., officer at a domestic call on South Second Street heard gun shots; unable to locate.

12:43 p.m., two-vehicle accident at Maple and Lexington avenues.

1:02 p.m., two-vehicle accident at the bypass and Hustonville Road.

1:10 p.m., caller from Gallant Fox residence is reporting his water hose was stolen yesterday and his truck was spray painted today.

4:52 p.m., caller’s roommate asked her to come and get her at Shaker Point residence, but the subjects in the apartment won’t let her leave; trouble settled.

9:19 p.m., caller from Locust Street is being harassed by his sister.

9:42 p.m., caller is requesting police check on the welfare of an elderly male who believes he sees a shadow of someone who may be inside the home.

9:52 p.m., caller from Chestnut Street residence wants advice about getting her belongings from her roommate; assistance given.

11:51 p.m., caller from another Chestnut Street residence is advising a suspicious car with out-of-state tags keeps circling the neighborhood; the driver has pulled into several unoccupied homes, then leaves and comes back; unable to locate.

JULY 9

12:41 a.m., vehicle enforcement on Perryville Road; arrest made.

12:49 a.m., a male and female are at the police department and want assistance with lodging for the night.

3:28 a.m., caller is advising a group of people are in the middle of Williams Court playing ball and keeping people awake; group was going inside upon the officer’s arrival, who also told them not to be playing ball so late in the street.

12:06 p.m., caller on East Walnut Street wants to speak to an officer about not being paid for work that was done.

1:48 p.m., caller is advising his children’s mother struck and kicked his car causing damage.

5:19 p.m., caller witnessed a male and female arguing in the parking lot on Skywatch Drive; as they got into the car the male struck the female in the face; officer advised the call was unfounded.

6:46 p.m., report of a grape juice bottle with a black substance in it is at the corner of Fox Run Trail; it may be drug related; officer advised it was homemade wine.

7:57 p.m., vehicle stop at Main and Second streets; arrest made.

8:25 p.m., caller saw two males trying to gain entry to vacant house on Springhill Road; house checked out OK.

9:19 p.m., person is at police department lobby reporting theft of a cell phone, home phone and a garage door opener.

9:58 p.m., someone has fired a firecracker at officer at Fourth and Grant streets; unable to locate.

11:41 p.m., there is an unoccupied vehicle by the softball fields at Millennium Park; the vehicle has the windows down and keys in the ignition and several alcoholic beverages inside; Casey County Sheriff’s office contacted trying to locate the mother to pick up her juvenile son; juvenile released to mother.

11:55 p.m., caller’s soon-to-be ex-wife has stolen money from his room at Best Western Motel.
