RICHMOND — The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, welcomes six new troopers from cadet class 90 that began April 15.
Trooper Jeff Stith, 42, is a native of Danville, and the son of David and Lela Stith of Danville. He is a graduate of Lincoln County High School. Stith was an officer with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Department and will be assigned to the West Squad, which is responsible for Boyle, Lincoln, Mercer, Jessamine and Garrard counties.
Trooper Bobby Edwards, 33, is a native of Annville, and the son of Doug and Kathy Edwards of Annville. Edwards is a graduate of Jackson County High School and formerly an officer with the Berea Police Department. He will be assigned to the East Squad, which is responsible for Estill, Lee, Owsley and Jackson Counties.
Trooper Aaron Hall, 28, is a native of Berea and the son of Gary and Joyce Hall of Berea. Hall is a graduate of Berea Community High School and formerly an officer with the Berea Police Department. He will be assigned to the Central Squad, which is responsible for Madison and Clark Counties.
