Margaret Proctor: June 26, 1947 - July 13, 2012

Margaret Katherine Scanlon Proctor, 65, died Friday, July 13, at her residence. She was born June 26, 1947, in Lexington, a daughter of the late James Edward and Ethel Mae McCullough Scanlon.
She retired after 25 years from Saint Joseph Hospital and was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Bronson Proctor; four children, Thomas Ray Scanlon and wife Angie, and Lisa Mae Currey, both of Nicholasville, Sheila Faye George of Lexington, and John Hansford Beasley and wife Andrea of Nicholasville; four stepsons, Darryl Proctor and wife Alice, and Rodney, Mark, and Jason Proctor, all of Lawrenceburg; 10 grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, Stephanie, Katherine, Sarah, Casper, Hannah, Rebehah Hope, John Hayden and Brooke; nine stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Anthony Wayne, Kaylee and Baylee; three step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joy Faircloth of Lexington, Barbara Bailey of Versailles and Bonnie Pierce of Lexington; three brothers, Charlie Scanlon of Lexington, Louie Scanlon of Owen County and Dean Scanlon of Nicholasville. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Scanlon and Mary Jo Davis; and a brother, Ronald Scanlon.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Temple Jr., Bro. Bryan Proctor and Katherine George presiding. Burial followed in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation was from 4–8 p.m. Monday. Pallbearers were Tim and Dan Davis, Anthony and Casper Scanlon, Travis Proctor, and Bryan Proctor.
