Obama reveals his true beliefs

July 23, 2012

“If you’ve got a business you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” — President Barack Obama, July 13, 2012.

In political terms, a “gaff” is when you accidentally let the truth come out. Barack Obama has made a career fooling people into thinking he is a moderate. He has revealed what is truly in his heart of hearts.

Small business owners give blood, sweat and tears to build their businesses — taking risks and spending many long hours. “Somebody else” did it? It is a slap in the face to say they made it only because of government assistance.

The truth is Barack Obama does not understand economics. The economy is trapped in one of the slowest recoveries ever following a recession. We will not have a robust recovery with this president because he does not believe in or have any respect for, private enterprise.

He believes you must have elaborate, expensive government programs to succeed. Big brother government knows best and the rest of us are not smart enough to do it on our own. Obama attacks success, thus we have less success.

Instead of working toward legislation to allow the private sector to work, Obama has spent the last six months traveling to more than 100 fundraisers. Meanwhile, in the last two months the U.S. has created less than half the jobs needed to grow the economy. There is no leadership. He demonizes successful business people. He would do well to listen to the advice of his fellow Democrat, President John F. Kennedy, who said, “You cannot lift up one American by dragging down another. A rising tide lifts all boats.”

This president is unconcerned that the federal deficit is $15 trillion and climbing, that we must pay 30 cents on the dollar just to finance the deficit or that the most recent number on monthly jobless claims is a horrific 384,000. Now that this president has revealed himself for who he truly is, it’s up to us this November to get rid of this economic lightweight so we can get ourselves back on sound financial footing.
