JULY 26

12:21 a.m., a strong armed robbery just occurred at Denmark Drive residence; caller said two males beat him up and a female took his wallet and prescriptions; suspects left in a gold-colored car with a loud exhaust; 12:47 a.m., Lincoln County and a detective were notified.

2:15 a.m., caller advised a driver of a green SUV was running people off the road and was last seen turning onto Maple Avenue from Main Street; unable to locate driver.

2:33 a.m., officer initiated investigation at Walmart; arrest made.

2:57 a.m., a fight is in progress at South Fifth Street residence; two subjects detained; arrest made.

9:31 a.m., one-vehicle accident on East Lexington Avenue near Woodland Avenue; 9:39 a.m., KU notified; 11:34 a.m., new utility pole is on scene.

9:57 a.m., report of two dogs being left in a maroon-colored vehicle for about 40 minutes at Walmart parking lot; unable to locate.

10:30 a.m., caller from Shawnee Road has been receiving phone calls that may be a scam; trouble settled.

11 a.m., two-vehicle accident on the bypass near Stewarts Lane.

11:19 a.m., two-vehicle accident on South Fourth Street.

4:17 p.m., report of theft of a laptop from a vehicle parked at Speedway.

5:37 p.m., adult male shoplifter is in custody at Walmart.

6:01 p.m., driver of a blue car is following an ambulance too closely that is en route to UK; female driver is refusing to stop; Casey County EMS is requested to stop its ambulance in order to stop the vehicle; both have stopped at Danville High School; citation issued.

7:06 p.m., report of parents arguing with the staff at the baseball field behind Bate Middle School.

8:13 p.m., a female at Walmart is shoplifting and she has a no trespassing order; arrest made.

8:23 p.m., an intoxicated female is at the hospital who is afraid to return home due to domestic violence possibility.

9:09 p.m., a male came to the caller’s window on West Lexington Avenue who may be a robbery suspect.

11:01 p.m., three subjects are messing around in the rubble of a demolished property on North First Street; officer advised that the subject has a posting with his name on it and it is OK for him to be there.

11:08 p.m., a male on a motorcycle is trying to start a fight with the caller at Country Hearth Inn; trouble settled and one of the subjects has left the scene.
