Mary Horton: July 30, 2012

Mary Wilson Horton, 66, widow of Leroy Horton, died Monday, July 30, from complications from ALS/Lou Gehrig Disease. She was retired from the Fayette County Clerks Office. She was the daughter of Ruth Cornett and the late Estes Cornett. Additional survivors are three children, Carol and husband Brent Hollis, Terri Wilson, Tom and wife Denise Wilson; two step children, Vickie and husband Terry Turner, Kim and husband Jimmy Miller, six grandchildren, Ryan Dedman, Kelcie Hollis, Hannah Wilson, Morgan Wilson, Jacob Hollis and Jonathan Rader Wilson, great-grandchildren, Bradley Dedman and Elijah Davis-Dedman, step grandchildren, Ashlee and husband Scott Bolin, Alan Turner, Austin and Josh Miller; step great-grandchild, Emma Grayce Bolin; brother, Billy and wife Peggy Cornett; sister, Kaye and husband Stan Collett, numerous other loving relatives and friends. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wilmore Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com.
