Freeda Wiles Dick, 91, of Science Hill, passed away Thursday, July 19, at Cumberland Nursing & Rehab.
Born Aug. 7, 1920, in Bethelridge, Freeda was a daughter of the late Melvin Wiles and Gertie Phelps Dick. She was a seamstress for Palm Beach and a charter member of Northside Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dolphus Dick, who died on April 6, 1996; one daughter, Bobbie Cassada; and two sons-in-law, Sammy Miller and Harold Black.
Survivors include two daughters, Maxine Black of Science Hill and Brenda Miller of Richmond; son-in-law, Jerry Cassada of Louisville; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were July 21 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill with Bro. Scott Wiggins officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.
