Marvin Lee Lovins Sr., 73, of Crab Orchard, passed away Friday, July 27.
Born Sept. 16, 1938, in Somerset, Marvin was a son of the late Louis Herbert and Mary Frances Tull Lovins. He was a self-employed body shop worker.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Thomas and Henry Roger Lovins.
Survivors include three sons, Randy Dale, Jeffery Allen and Marvin Lee Lovins, Jr. all of Versailles; one daughter, Anita Sue Bast of Versailles; three brothers, Eddie B. Lovins, Sr. of Somerset, Ralph Dennis Lovins of Murphy, N.C. and Gary Norman Lovins of Nashville, Ind.; one sister, Maudie Virginia Medaris of Columbus, Ind.; a very special friend, Lela McWhorter of Crab Orchard; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were July 30 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill with Bro. Marvin Cromer officiating. Burial was in Hazeldell Cemetery.
