Glenna Teague, 95

Glenna Teague, 95, of Stanford, died Monday, July 23, at the Christian Care Center in Lancaster.

Born Feb. 26, 1917, in LaFollette, Tenn., Glenna was a daughter of the late James and China Belle Stanfield Baird. She worked in the Lincoln County PVA office for over 20 years, was a member of the Stanford Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women's III Sunday School Class and was  a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the widow of Minor Teague.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Everett and Harrison Baird; and a sister, Nora Long.

Survivors include her son, Joe Teague of Danville; a grandson, Jeff Teague of Chicago, Ill.; two nieces; and one nephew.

 Funeral services were July 25 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford with Rev. Daryl Hodge officiating.  Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Marion D. Bastin, Jim Baird, Jeff Teague, Ted Baker, Charles Norfleet and Juanita Barricklow.
