Charged
— Shannon F. Brandenburg, 41, of 109 Bay Hill Drive, was charged Wednesday with no insurance, driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
— Eric Scott Johnson, 30, of 127 College St. Apt. 2, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, endangering the welfare of a minor and failure to maintain insurance.
— Natasha L. Meadows, 32, of 47 Cherokee Court, was charged Wednesday with alcohol intoxication and endangering the welfare of a minor.
— Steven R. Rogers, 58, of 249 Edgemont Ave., was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Aaron William Spencer, 22, of 127 College St., was charged Wednesday with leaving the scene of an accident and second-degree wanton endangerment.

Reports
— At 4:11 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 14 Calloway St. concerning a missing wallet.
— At 6:10 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 27 E. Washington St. concerning the theft of a purse. The call was canceled.
— At 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 418 Skylark Drive concerning the theft of a handgun from a truck.
— At 5:01 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 806 Westwood Drive concerning a theft that occurred two days ago.
— At 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a text message.
— At 5:44 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 720 Boone Ave. concerning the theft of a purse the day before.
— At 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called ot 8 Alabama St. after someone broke in and “took everything.”
— At 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 300 C.G. Stephenson Drive after someone entered a woman’s apartment and took medication.
— At 8:55 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 31 W. Broadway concerning a man taking cigarettes from vehicles around CVS¿Pharmacy. Steven R. Rogers was charged with theft by unlawful taking.

Accident
— At 11:03 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to an injury accident at the intersection of College Street and Boone Avenue. Eric Johnson of 127 College St. was attempting to turn left onto Boone Avenue and pulled out in front of an oncoming pickup truck and a tractor trailer. Johnson’s car hit both vehicles, spun around and went through a yard before striking another vehicle. Johnson, his 7-year-old son and his passenger Aaron Spencer all fled on foot. Johnson and Spencer were later captured and charged with multiple offenses. The child was turned over to Social Services. Johnson was also transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries
