AUGUST 3 

12:31 a.m., officer out with a disturbance on Regency Drive; arrest made.

4:48 a.m., officer picking up items from Centre College security that were found in the road on Walnut Street.

9:19 a.m., report of a burglary occurring overnight at Hometown Clinic on Tenikat Street.

9:46 a.m., two-vehicle accident in front of Burke’s Bakery.

9:59 a.m., two-vehicle accident near Arnold Tower on South Third Street.

10:04 a.m., complaint of a reckless driver in a truck weaving all over Lexington Avenue and crossing the yellow line; the subject has struck a van on Main Street near the courthouse and continued; arrest made.

12:14 p.m., two-vehicle accident on East Walnut Street.

2:22 p.m., report of children playing on the telephone and have called the 911 center at least four times today; officer spoke with the mother and child, phone was taken away.

3:35 p.m., a female has been given temporary custody of children and is at the residence to pick them up; she is also requesting officer’s assistance.

5:43 p.m., female is requesting an officer explain to her nieces and nephews that they cannot open car doors in a moving vehicle; unable to locate subject.

5:49 p.m., female was seen physically abusing a child in the Walmart parking lot.

6 p.m., a male just left a business on Hustonville Road after causing a verbal altercation when they refused to sell him lye; unable to locate subject.

8:01 p.m., two-vehicle accident on South Fourth Street.

8:34 p.m., a physical domestic altercation just occurred at Russell Street residence; arrest made.

8:59 p.m., an intoxicated male who jumped out of a vehicle at St. Mildred’s Court and Main Street has been run over; arrest made.

11:34 p.m., owners of Wind Jammers are requesting to speak to an officer about someone threatening and harassing them; extra patrol is requested; business has been referred to the county attorney for charges.

AUGUST 4 

12:36 a.m., domestic disturbance in progress and one of the subjects is intoxicated; the female is damaging property at Hilltop Drive residence.

12:50 a.m., complaint of a large party going on with underage drinking; they also are throwing and breaking glass bottles in the road on Count Fleet Circle.

9:49 a.m., two-vehicle accident at the farmers’ market on the bypass.

11:12 a.m., a male is at the caller’s back door on Patrician Place and throwing objects; arrest made.

1:27 p.m., a pursuit reported from Marion County on Ky. 68; officers are pursuing a pickup truck that is dragging a chain; 1:29 p.m., pursuit heading into Boyle County and Marion County terminated pursuit; officers unable to locate subject.

5:21 p.m., report of a pistol being stolen from the display case at the Boyle County Fairgrounds within the past 20 minutes.

6:51 p.m., request to check on the welfare of an elderly female who has been in the Dollar General Store twice; arrest made.

7:23 p.m., an 11- or 12-year-old child has come to the caller’s residence claiming she was assaulted by her mother; arrest made.

11:28 p.m., caller is requesting to speak to an officer about the location of a stolen cell phone; the phone was stolen from a residence in Moreland and has been tracked to a residence on Highland Court; assistance given.

11:40 p.m., subject at Charleston Greene is reporting burglary of jewelry and a fur coat.

AUGUST 5

1:07 a.m., officer out with a disturbance at Off Broadway Homes.

10:40 a.m., verbal domestic altercation just occurred on Proud Clarion Way; female is requesting the male be served his copy of an EPO that she served yesterday.

12:15 p.m., a small dog keeps running in and out of CVS; owner has the dog.

9:20 p.m., an intoxicated male at Kentucky Avenue residence in Junction City has intentionally killed a kitten.

11:52 p.m., caller thinks someone has just broken into his home because he hears someone moving around downstairs at North Third Street residence; caller’s son came home from out of state unexpectedly.

AUGUST 6

7:02 a.m., report of a physical domestic altercation in progress in a parking lot on Grabruck Street; the male and female have gotten into a car and it is heading east on Ky. 34; Garrard County notified.

8:41 a.m., officer checking on subject at residence on Factory Lane; arrest made.

8:49 a.m., report of a physical assault that just occured at Patchen Point Apartments where an employee of Aaron’s attempted to retrieve property; assistance given.

9:16 p.m., caller reports his lawn mower was stolen over the weekend from Russell Street residence.

9:30 a.m., Danville Elite Auto was burglarized over the weekend; there was forced entry through a basement window.

10:56 a.m., report of a 42-year-old male breathing but not responsive at Super 8 Motel; 11:45 a.m., officer at hospital with subject and arrest made.

11:23 a.m., report of a verbal altercation occurred between a subject and a repo man at Sarah Lane residence.

1:40 p.m., a verbal domestic altercation is in progress at Alexander Drive residence; arrest made.

5:03 p.m., business on Hustonville Road was burglarized sometime between Friday night and today; the back door locks and the glass are broken out.

5:24 p.m., Giovanni’s Pizza is advising a male left the business without paying for his meal and they want to press charges.

5:25 p.m., hospital is requesting a rape kit.

6:49 p.m., officer attempting to stop a vehicle near the Mercer-Boyle County line; Spanish interpretor requested.

8:01 p.m., caller’s 16-year-old son has assaulted her younger son; female called back and said she changed her mind and no assistance was needed.

10:01 p.m., a male contacted a friend, who advised the caller that he wanted to either kill himself or fake his death; he may be armed with a sawed-off hand gun.
