Shane and Lisa Whitaker of Garrard County announce the birth of their son, Kaden Beck Whitaker, born at 1:09 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.
He was welcomed home by his big brother, Tanner.
His maternal grandparents are Jerry and Debbie Carter of Nicholasville.
His paternal grandparents are Ray and Pat Whitaker of Nicholasville.
He was also welcomed home by his maternal great-grandparents, Barbara Estepp, Dan and Beverly Stocker, and Ray and Marjorie Carter, all of Nicholasville.
His paternal great-grandparents are Lawrence Hughes and the late Beulah Hughes of Lexington, and the late Virgil and Pearl Whitaker of Nicholasville.
