Clark County animal group receives $15K grant

A Time to Live, a local support group for the Clark County Animal Shelter recently received a $15,000 grant from the East Hill Foundation, a New York not-for-profit corporation, to be used to provide a spay and neuter program for dogs and cats for low income households.

The grant will provide enough funds to spay and neuter approximately 340 animals through a low cost voucher program. Vouchers are available for residents of Clark County with a combined annual household income of $30,000 or less.

A Time to Live also provides programs intended to lessen the need for euthanasia at the local animal shelter and provides support to increase animal adoptions, rescue and transport efforts as well as medical support and foster to adopt for the shelter animals.
