Hala Marie Benge, 72, of Comer, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 4, at her home.
Born Nov. 25, 1939, in Crab Orchard, Hala was a daughter of the late Jesse E. and Judy (Neal) Coldiron. She was a retired employee of Palm Beach Clothing Company and the widow of Harold Benge who passed away in 1984.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Lee and Tidge Coldiron; and a sister, Virginia Mullins.
Survivors include a daughter, Patty Rae Tucker, of Comer, Ga.; a son, Derryl Gene Benge, of Comer, Ga.; sister, Lena Faye Palmer, of Crab Orchard; and brothers, Daniel Coldiron, of Nicholasville and George (Marie) Coldiron of Danville.
Funeral services were Sept. 8 at McKnight Funeral Home in Crab Orchard with Bro. Dan Gutenson officiating. Burial was in Coldiron Family Cemetery in Crab Orchard.
Active pallbearers were Danny Ray Coldiron, Charlie Douglas, Josh Shelton, Joel and Steve Bennett and Shane Pingleton. Honorary pallbearer was Harold Singleton.
