The man accused of intentionally setting fire last month to a Danville nursing home has been indicted by a Boyle County grand jury.

Daniel Souleyrette, 22, of 711 Hillcrest Dr. in Danville, was indicted Thursday on the felony charges of arson, burglary and criminal mischief.

Souleyrette allegedly set fire to Charleston Healthcare on Bruce Court the morning of July 29, according to the indictment.

Because three staff members acted quickly to put out the blaze with a fire extinguisher, no one was injured and evacuations were not required,

City officials including Mayor Bernie Hunstad and Fire Chief Woody Ball publicly lauded the three women during a recent City Commission meeting.
