A Clark County woman was arrested within hours after a downtown store was robbed Monday afternoon. Savannah Hall, 27, of 1242 Irvine Road, was arrested a short time after the Broadway Corner Market was robbed. According to a Winchester Police arrest citation, Hall entered the store about 2:45 p.m. and implied she had a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, Hall fled the store, according to Detective Eric Campbell. No weapon was found, but Campbell said, “Hall had her hand up under her shirt and said she had a weapon, and the clerk believed she had a weapon.” Police were able to identify Hall as the suspect and after learning she might be in Bath County, Campbell said, Winchester Police requested that Kentucky State Police troopers go to the location where they ultimately found her. Winchester Police picked Hall up and returned her to Winchester where she is being held in the Clark County Detention Center.
