Stanford Police executed a search warrant Tuesday of the residence of Shelton, 24, of Aberdeen Drive, Lexington. Shelton was arrested Friday on charges of kidnapping newborn Grayci Barrows from Fort Logan Hospital. The items recovered by Stanford Detective Rick Edwards reflect the typical preparations of an expectant mother, such as notes that list names and gifts received at a baby shower and the book, "What to Expect When You're Expecting.

Dennis Sims, who underwent triple by-pass on Tuesday of last week at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, returned home late Sunday. We are happy to report that he is recovering nicely. Those who have been ill with any of the afflictions that are going around these days do not seem to be recovering very well. Some who missed church the Sunday before were still unable to attend this past Sunday. Sandra K. Price and husband Chris have sold their home in LaGrange and bought a place in Green River near Columbia.

I went back to the doctor last week for an ultrasound. For those of you not in the know on all things babies (and believe me, that was yours truly until, well, it probably still is), by about four months, the doctors can answer the all-important question: boy or girl. Sooner if you cheat and pay for a 3-D ultrasound. But why bother with doctor's appointments or 3-D ultrasounds when there is the ring test? Simple, cost effective, accurate. Right? Well, maybe for some people.

My friend Rhonda told me a few months ago that, with all the weddings I've been part of this year, I¿should prepare myself for the next big event in my friends' lives - baby showers. My friend and former roommate Erica must have talked to Rhonda, because I spent Thursday night back in our hometown at - you guessed it - a baby shower. In a few months Erica will be mom to baby boy Ryne and, since I don't have any brothers and sisters, I have decided that I'm going to be his aunt.

A.J. was born three weeks early, and Michael said the couple had not finished baby-prepping the house, as they were planning on getting many baby items they needed from a baby shower scheduled for Saturday, July 18. LEXINGTON - In the last two seasons, Dicky Lyons Jr. has caught 106 passes for the Kentucky football team. Yet those sure hands didn't keep him from fumbling at the one time he wanted to make sure he didn't have a drop. This time, though, the fumble didn't hurt him - or even get noticed. Lyons recently asked his longtime girlfriend Mindy Howell, who also is from New Orleans, to marry him when she returned here after spending a month at home. Lyons waited at the bottom of the escalator at Blue Grass Airport, and when he saw her, he dropped to his knees.
