A burglar stormed The Castle early Monday morning, taking an undisclosed amount of jewelry from the store and pawn shop, located at 2048 Lexington Road. According to Jessamine County sheriff's deputy Larry Oliver, a white male gained entry into a vacant next door building to break into the store around 4:50 a.m. “It looks like entry was made into The Castle from an adjacent, unoccupied building,” Oliver said. “It looks like they breached the door of that building and went in and removed a section of the drywall and got into The Castle that way. Once they were in there, they removed several items of jewelry from the display cases.” Oliver said the only description available is a white male who was wearing dark shorts and a dark hoodie.
