Music St. James AME Church — 3:30 p.m. Sunday, the Nora F. Smith Missionary Society will host the choir, congregation and the Rev. Michelle Washington of Johnson AME Zion Church in Springfield. Freedom Baptist Church — 11 a.m. Sunday, Redeemed Quartet, Capitol Artists and Cross & Crown Music's 2008 Artist of the Year, will perform at 3505 N. U.S. 27, Stanford. A fellowship meal will be served after the concert. Speakers Hope Full Gospel Church — 4 p.m. Sunday, the speaker will be the Rev. Robert L. Coulter of Word of Life Church in Nicholasville.

Music Crab Orchard Christian Church — 11 a.m. Sunday, the church will host the bluegrass gospel group 29 Strings. Video series West End Church of Christ — beginning 6:30 p.m. June 5, the church will show “Out with Doubt” video series hosted by Kyle Butt, a knowledgeable and interesting speaker who will seek to strengthen viewers’ confidence in the existence of God.   Good things to eat Stoney Point Predestinarian Church — 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday the church will have a fish fry at 217 W. Jefferson Ave., Danville.

Revivals Freys Creek Baptist Church - 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, the church will host a revival, and the speaker will be Casey Davis. The church is off Ky. 906 in northern Casey County. Slate Hill United Methodist Church   - 7 p.m. May 6-8, the church will host a revival with visiting evangelist David Bowling of Monticello. The church will welcome Trinity Singers at 7 p.m. Saturday.   Music Danville First Church of God - 7 p.m. Saturday,  The Common Bond Quartet of the Winchester and Mount Sterling area, will be in concert, with special guests, The Eventide Trio of Kidak, Tenn.  The church is at 3220 Harrodsburg Road.

Group in concert Gilberts Creek Baptist Church - 11 a.m. Sunday,  the church will host the Wootens in concert. The church is located on Crab Orchard Road in Lancaster. World Day of Prayer The two units of Church Women United of Danville and Harrodsburg will celebrate the World Day of Prayer 9-10 a.m. March 1 at Harrodsburg Christian Church, 308 S. Main¿St. A program will be 10-11 a.m. All church women are welcome. Movie night Moreland First Baptist, Hustonville - 6:30 p.m. today, the church will have a free movie, “October Baby.” Good things to eat St. James AME Church - 3-7 p.m. Saturday, the church will have a dinner buffet.
