The following cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court March 15 with Judge Jean Chenault Logue presiding. - Monica Bybee, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended six years; second-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed; sentencing April 12. -  Jessica Prater, receiving stolen property-firearm (seven counts), pleaded guilty, recommended one year each, to run concurrently, sentencing April 12. -  Elizabeth Stratton, first-degree wanton endangerment (five counts)

Disagreements over finances and the strain put on a couple struggling to support a family because of a lack of money, or money management, are among the most common causes of divorce. The struggle to stay together fails all too often, and the effects of that failure compound when children are involved. Society suffers, too, when families split.
