Garrard County had possession of the football for nearly 16 minutes and ran 46 offensive plays to just 19 for Estill County in the first half while building a 21-7 lead and held on for a pleasing 27-21 win over the Engineers on homecoming Friday night at Dyehouse Stadium. The Golden Lions had given up 146 points through three games, but they looked like a refreshed team Friday as Garrard coach Mark Scenters substituted freely throughout the game.
