LIBERTY - For most football fans in Casey County, this game was an afterthought. But for a few usually anonymous players, it was an opportunity. There was no question Casey was going to beat Evangel Christian on Friday night, and that meant some of the younger Rebels who don't usually see the field would get more playing time than they'll probably see all season. The reserves played more than the starters as the host Rebels rolled to a 48-6 victory over a winless Evangel team that had only 11 players in uniform, and they relished every minute of it. "It feels good to get out there and be able to play with the varsity," sophomore running back Joe Evans said.
