DHS band plans car wash A car wash from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Wal-Mart will benefit the Danville High School Marching Admirals. Registration available for volleyball camp Danville High School's girls volleyball team has been invited to participate in Volleyball University camp from 3:30-6:30 p.m. July 20-22 at Garrard County High School. The cost is $65. Registration forms are available in the DHS office. Liberty OKs budget LIBERTY - A $2.8 million budget was approved Wednesday by the City Council.

All new business was tabled until the next regular meeting due to the absence of city attorney George Fletcher at the Junction City Council meeting Thursday night. Included in the new business were three ordinances relating to code enforcement and property maintenance. Despite Fletcher's absence, the topic did lead into a discussion about properties around town that either have been repaired after being cited or need to be repaired. The main eyesore on the council's mind was the old Phillip's 66 service station.
