Courtney Amber Byrne and Joseph Searle, both of Knoxville, Tenn., were united in marriage Aug. 15, 2009, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Knoxville. Cesar Correa officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Sherry and the late Jeff Byrne of Knoxville. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee and is employed by Medical Management Professionals. The groom is the son of James and Karen Searle of Nicholasville. He is a 2003 graduate of West Jessamine High School and a 2007 graduate of Transylvania University.

Missy and Ernie Hutchins of Bardstown announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Gail Hutchins, to Charles B. Knoppe, the son of Peggy Baird of Winchester and Charles Knoppe of Bardstown. The wedding will take place Sept. 22 at Holy Trinity Church in Fredericktown, Ky. The bride will be given in marriage by her father and will wear a a silk gown with pearl sequins and a cathedral train. She will carry a bouquet of red and white roses. Rachel Burton of Bardstown is the maid of honor and Josh Buckman of Springfield, Ky., is the best man. Bridesmaids include Jennifer Boone and Kayla Lampkin of Bardstown.

Ann-Phillips Mayfield and Jay Edward Ingle were married at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, at the Second Presbyterian Church in Lexington. The Rev. Lee Bowman and the Rev. Dennis Burrows performed the double-ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Barry and Kathy Mayfield and the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Mayfield, all of Winchester. Ingle is the son of Mrs. Marleen Varner of Lakeland, Fla., and the late Dr. Carroll Varner, and James Ingle of Lexington. The bride wore an A-line gown of white silk peau de soi with an off-the-shoulder pin-tucked neckline.

Audrey Nicole Catlett, daughter of Jerry and Cathy Catlett of Lexington, formerly of Winchester, became the bride of David Michael Pape in a 7 p.m. Mass on Friday, May 26, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Louisville. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Madget McCormick Cleveland of Frankfort and the late Roger Cleveland and the late Milton and Sarah Kathryn Catlett. Pape is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Charles Pape Jr. of Louisville. He is the grandson of the late Marion and Mary Abell and the late Richard and Mary Pape.

BROWNSTOWN, Ind. - The fourth annual Mrs. Kentuckiana Pageant was held Aug. 4 in Brownstown. The event is an official preliminary to the Mrs. Kentucky America Pageant and is produced by PageantCrown.com. The show was hosted by former Miss Indiana USA (and Miss Kentuckiana 2004) Kaitlyn Christopher; former Indiana's Junior Miss (and Kentuckiana Teen 2002) Katie Stam; and the reigning Mrs. Kentucky America and Mrs. Kentuckiana 2006, Dr. Denise Yates. Contestants competed in three equal phases of competition: personality in interview and public speaking; physical fitness in swimsuit and elegance in evening gown.

By Nancy Leedy The Lincoln County Fair opened its 2009 run in royal fashion, crowning two queens ? Miss Lincoln County Fair and Miss Lincoln County ? under the lights of the Teddy Gilbert Memorial Pageant Pavilion Monday night. Jaime Elizabeth Horne, 18, of Paris, garnered the winner's crown in the 2009 Miss Lincoln County Fair contest, over 17 other contestants. Sharing the winner's spotlight with Horne was 18-year-old Nicolette Dawn Coontz of Stanford. Coontz was deemed by the judges as the top local contestant out of six entries to wear the Miss Lincoln County crown.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Debbie Brewer of Winchester, and Dr. Shaw is the son of Peggy and Ken Webb of Owensboro and Ronald and Linda Shaw of Booneville. Judge Jeff Taylor officiated and music was provided by Disc Daddy. The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a strapless ivory satin floor-length gown designed with a long, fitted bodice, detailed with small pearls and accented at the back with matching streamers.
