Boyle County Boyle County Elementary School Tuesday: pork choppette, roll, green beans, mandarin oranges and garden salad. Wednesday: taco or deli turkey on bagel, corn, refried beans, cheese and steamed rice. Thursday: chicken wrap or ham sandwich, steamed broccoli, sliced pears, cherry tomatoes and dessert.

The Heart of Danville Farmers Market has moved its location for Tuesday and Thursday again. We have been trying to get a downtown location all summer and we finally got one. We hope to see our old customers along with new customers. The new location is on Main Street right across from the post office. Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, or until sold out. Saturday’s schedule is 8 a.m.-4 p.m., or until sold out, at the U.S. Bank parking lot at Fourth and Main streets.

Church offers free meals Alum Springs First Church of God will provide a free, good, hot, home-cooked meal to anyone in the community starting at 6:30 p.m. today. The church on Ky. 300 between Junction City and Parksville is providing the meals “to show their love of God and the community,” according to a news release. For more information, call the church at (859) 236-4859. Free health screen offered Danville First Baptist Church is hosting a free health screen 8 a.m.-noon Saturday.
